Caprese salad is a simple Italian salad, made of sliced fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and sweet basil, seasoned with salt, olive oil, or balsamic vinaigrette. The salad is named after the island of Capri, where it is believed to have originated. It is usually arranged on a plate in restaurant practice. We add the grilled-seared fresh caught tuna on top as it’s special delight making it a preferred dish for non-meat eaters.
