Marx & Lowell Galileo Gyroscrope Desk Clock
Beautiful brass desk clock features a wristwatch-sized clock suspended within a gyroscope-type holder centered between four small columns. The clock face measures approximately 1.25 inches in diameter; face is marked BENCHMARK QUARTZ over a unique "world time" face (I could not find other examples of this feature on any other similar clocks listed.) The back of the clock case is marked JAPAN MOV'T / CASE CHINA. Sold as-is and as-shown--the clock is not working and will need a battery or other repair; has been displayed and will need additional cleaning/polishing on the brass base and mount. In very good pre-owned condition. No original box.
